This is the finest mini plane available with the highest quality. Shapers Mini Stringer Plane are the perfect shape size and weight for precision planing for surfboard stringers. The flat bottom Shapers Stringer Plane is perfectly weighted to help guide the plane for cutting the stringer down along flatter lengths of a surfboard designed with finger groves engraved in the side to help prevent slipping.

The Shapers Stringer Plane has a thumbscrew adjustment allowing for quick cutting depths adjustment. Machined from brass and chromed with a chrome vanadium high tensile steel blade the Shapers Stringer Plane maintains an extremely sharp and fine edge that can be resharpened.
