The Rounded base and blade allows shapers to planing the stringer on rocked parts of the board and in between the concaves, the round bass allows the plane to roll side to side for precision cutting. Designed with finger groves engraved in the side to help prevent slipping. Â
The Shapers Stringer Plane has a thumbscrew adjustment allowing for quick cutting depths adjustment. Machined from brass and chromed, with a chrome vanadium high tensile steel blade the Shapers Stringer Plane maintains an extremely sharp and fine edge that can be resharpened.
