The flat bottom Shapers Stringer Plane is perfectly weighted to help guide the plane for cutting the stringer down along flatter lengths of a surfboard designed with finger groves engraved in the side to help prevent slipping.
The Shapers Stringer Plane has a thumbscrew adjustment allowing for quick cutting depths adjustment. Machined from brass and chromed with a chrome vanadium high tensile steel blade the Shapers Stringer Plane maintains an extremely sharp and fine edge that can be resharpened.
