This is the finest mini plane available with the highest quality. Shapers Mini Stringer Planes are the perfect shape, size and weight for precision planing for surfboard stringers.
The Rounded base and blade allows shapers to planing the stringer on rocked parts of the board and in between the concaves, the round bass allows the plane to roll side to side for precision cutting. Designed with finger groves engraved in the side to help prevent slipping.
The Shapers Stringer Plane has a thumbscrew adjustment allowing for quick cutting depths adjustment. Machined from brass and chromed, with a chrome vanadium high tensile steel blade the Shapers Stringer Plane maintains an extremely sharp and fine edge that can be resharpened.
Le Rabot Kid 4 est petit et maniable. De construction robuste en aluminium, il permet d'adapter la position de la lame sur 3 positions (Rabotage / Racloir / Concaves) pour s'adapter au rocker de la planche lors du travail sur la latte centrale en bois.
Le réglage de la lame s'effectue facilement en dévissant le papillon et en agissant sur la plaque suivant les flèches.
